We recommend that you start in the Old Testament or New Testament from the beginning.
We highly recommend listening to one track per day to get the most out of this Bible survey!
The goal for this Bible Survey is for you to be washed in the Word, as such we will not require the questions for completion of this survey. They will remain available to you if you are inclined to fill them in, but the journal/notes are what we will require for graduation.
"....Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish." Ephesians 5:25-27
1st – Pray that the Lord would give understanding, and bless your time in His word
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” James 1:5
“For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;” Prov. 2:6
2nd – Listen to the message (We highly recommend 1 track per day)
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17
“Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live;…” Isaiah 55:3
3rd – Write a journal/notes about the message in the space provided or in a prayer journal
“Also it shall be, when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write for himself a copy of this law in a book, … And it shall be with him, and he shall read it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear the LORD his God and be careful to observe all the words of this law and these statutes, that his heart may not be lifted above his brethren, that he may not turn aside from the commandment to the right hand or to the left, and that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his children in the midst of Israel.” Deuteronomy 17:18-20
4th – Let the Lord speak to you, meditate on these things throughout the day
"But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And on His law [His precepts and teachings] he [habitually] meditates day and night." Psalm 1:2 AMP
*The questions were provided by Calvary Chapel Bible College staff over the years.
** While he was a gifted teacher, Chuck was also human and as such some of his opinions and inclinations shifted throughout the years. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you are unsure of what may be just his opinion, or our position on any topics brought up.
