  • THROUGH THE BIBLE READING
  • Do you have any thoughts questions on your “Through the Bible” reading plan?

  • APPLICATIONS QUESTIONS FROM BIBLE STUDIES:
  • This week we discussed a few more specific gifts of the Holy Spirit. Have you ever been tempted to think that you do not have a gift, or a significant gift in the Body of Christ? Why or why not. Please read (1 Cor 12:7, 11, 1 Peter 4:10) and take note how many people have a gift.

  • In verse 10 we discussed the gift of tongues and the interpretation of tongues. What has been your experience with this gift in the past? Good or bad? What did you discover about this gift through our study and do you have any plans to change how you practice it?

  • In verse 28 we talked about the modern gift of an “apostle”. Do you see this trailblazer mentality in your life, or have you known anyone in the Body of Christ with this supernatural gifting. What has it looked like and what were the results?

  • In verse 28 we talked about the gift of teaching. Discuss the diference between a teacher and a scholor, or a teacher and a pastor/teacher, or a preacher and a teacher? Why are these diferentiations significant and what has been your expiereicne with these things?

  • In verse 28 we discussed the gift of helps in the Body of Christ. Why is it so significant that the Body has “hands”?  Discuss what may be the complications that follow a church that does not exalt the gift of helps as Scripture does. Do you see this gift in operation in your life or in others? In what ways has God called you to help and be an arm-lifter so other gifts can operate as they should. Take note of Gen 2:18, Acts 6, 1 Chron 22:8.
