Titus 2/Acts 2:42 - June 7
TITUS 2 / ACTS 2:42 QUESTIONS
“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” as explained in (Acts 2:46) “And continuing daily with one accord in the temple (corporate Sunday/Wednesday gatherings at HCF), and breaking bread from house to house (Acts 2:42/ Titus 2 discipleship), they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart.” Resulting in (Acts 2:47) “. . . and the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”
To be used in one-on-one(Titus 2), group, or family settings(Acts 2:46). We encourage the enjoyment of a meal or refreshments together (breaking of bread), spiritual conversation (fellowship), time discussing how the Word applies to our lives, and time of praying together during these simple gatherings.
Simply do life as believers should, and invite others to join you in The Great Commission of WIN-DISCIPLE-SEND.

Bible study Themes: (John 1:43-51) and Genesis 28 – “knowing Jesus as The Ladder from heaven”
- WIN a person to Jesus – (Mark 16:15)
- Have you had the privilege to share and show the gospel to anyone recently? Explain.

- APPLICATIONS QUESTIONS FROM BIBLE STUDIES: (or New believers study, Marriage study, Addictions study, or other approved material)
- In what ways, have you in your life found yourself trying to climb the social, corporate, or religious ladder in life? Please explain.
- In (Vs 43) Philip was invited to “follow” Jesus. According to (Luke 9:23) what does it mean to follow Jesus? Are you one who wakes up every day and asks Jesus to bless your plan, or would you consider yourself one who asks Jesus the plan and then follows Him? Explain why you believe your answer.
- In (Vs 46) we see that Nathanael had some misunderstandings about Jesus before he was to “Come and see”. What misunderstandings did you have about Jesus before coming to follow, and how has that changed since coming to see yourself?
- In (Vs 47 -49) the table was turned when Nathanael had his “encounter with Jesus”. Nathanael thought he was coming to study about Jesus, and He found that Jesus was studying, and knew him intimately. Have you ever, like Nathanael, or Jacob in (Gen 28) found yourself thinking you were all alone and forgotten, when all of the sudden God reminds you He is in this place (whatever difficult situation you find yourself in)? Explain what this does to your perspective on Jesus and your situation?.
- In (Vs 50-51) we see the promise to Nathanael that Jesus is the Ladder from heaven as in Jacob's vision (Gen 28:12). Have you personally been experiencing your Christian life more as a step ladder to climb, or extension ladder? Or have you understood that Jesus is the Ladder from heaven on a rescue mission that completed the work to reach you where you are? What is the difference as discussed on Sunday.
- MEMORY VERSE: (John 1:51)
- Fellowship/ Breaking bread
- Are you suffering? Do you have any praise to be cheerful about? Do you have any sickness to pray for healing? Do you have any sin to confess? (1 John 1:3-10, James 5:13-16).

- Any answered prayer from the last Titus 2/Acts 2:42 meeting?
- Bear one another’s burdens and pray for one another (write them down).
