ACTS 2:42 QUESTIONS
“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” as explained in (Acts 2:46) “And continuing daily with one accord in the temple (corporate Sunday/Wednesday gatherings at HCF), and breaking bread from house to house (Acts 2:42 home fellowships), they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart.” Resulting in (Acts 2:47) “. . . and the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”
To be used in one-on-one, group, or family settings. We encourage the enjoyment of a meal or refreshments together (breaking of bread), spiritual conversation (fellowship), time discussing how the Word applies to our lives, and time of praying together during these simple gatherings.
Simply do life as believers should, and invite others to join you.

APOSTLES DOCTRINE(WORD)
o THROUGH THE BIBLE READING
1. Do you have any thoughts questions on your “Through the Bible” reading plan?
o APPLICATIONS QUESTIONS FROM BIBLE STUDIES:
1. In (Vs 51) notice the fact of the “rapture” of the church in the statement “we shall not all sleep, . . .” Though we do not know exactly when this time will be in the future, what do you think the benefits would be personally of “rapture” Vs. dying and the being changed?
2. In (Vs 52) Paul tells us about “how” the rapture will happen. It will be suddenly “in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye” which means there will be no time to change your mind. Since the rapture is imminent, and we are told to “watch and be ready” are you personally ready to meat the Lord without regret if it were to happen now? Why or why not. Are there things in life you need to adjust in order to be ready? What and how do you plan on doing so?
3. In (Vs 52) We looked at the timing of the rapture, meaning on the eschatological timeline it seams to be pre-trib, that is before the judgment of God upon this world described in (Revelation 6-19). Of the 9 reasons given, which is most convincing of this to you, or not so? Discuss without being contentious.
4. In (Vs 54-56) we see Paul’s Scriptural taunt of death!! In What ways has “death” tormented you personally, and how do you stand now knowing the truth of the resurrection and declaring victory like Paul? How do you plan on practicing this?
5. In (Vs 57) we see our humble gratitude. How can you live a more confident, and thankful
life in light of the resurrection? Where do you find yourself giving into defeat and why?
6. In (Vs 58) we are reminded of the value of being faithful “steadfast”, immovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord since we believe in the life beyond the grave. Have you been tempted to give up, pressured to be moved or to lessen the load of service in the kingdom because of discouragement. How does it encourage you to think about the reward at the finish line. Note (Matthew 25:21, 1Cor 3, 2Timothy 4, Matthew 6:19-21).?
o MEMORY VERSE: (1Corinthians 15:51).
FELLOWSHIP
o SENDING/ SERVICE – (Acts 1:8)
1. What ministries have you been participating in this week, and what ways do you as an individual or a group want to pray about participating in in the weeks to come?
PRAYER – (1 Peter 5:7, Gal 6:2)
1. In what ways has God answered your prayer requests from your last Acts 2:42 meeting?
2. Share your prayer requests with one another, and write them down. Pray for one another and bear each other’s burdens to the Lord.
