Acts 2:42 Questions - Feb 8, 2026
“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of
bread, and in prayers.” as explained in (Acts 2:46) “And continuing daily with one accord in
the temple (corporate Sunday/Wednesday gatherings at HCF), and breaking bread from
house to house (Acts 2:42 home fellowships), they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart.” Resulting in (Acts 2:47) “. . . and the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”
To be used in one-on-one, group, or family settings. We encourage the enjoyment of a meal or refreshments together (breaking of bread), spiritual conversation (fellowship), time discussing how the Word applies to our lives, and time of praying together during these simple gatherings.
Simply do life as believers should, and invite others to join you.

Bible study Themes: 2 Corinthians 6-7:1 – “The heart of ministry is for Holiness”
APOSTLES DOCTRINE(WORD)
o THROUGH THE BIBLE READING
1. Do you have any thoughts questions on your “Through the Bible” reading plan?
o APPLICATIONS QUESTIONS FROM BIBLE STUDIES:
1. When you hear the word “Holiness” what first comes to your mind?
2. In (6:1-2) we see that we should live Holy lives because grace is available to live Holy. Is
there an area of Holiness (being wholly given to the Lord) that you have procrastinated
on and realize that “now” is the time, “now” is the day to lay hold of God’s grace. Share
specifically, and pray “now” to do so!
3. In (6:3-13) we see that we should live Holy lives because there is no offense, or fault
that could be given to Paul, and even more so to God. Have you ever used others as an
excuse not to live a Holy life? Have you ever used God as an excuse? Explain and if you
are willing return to the Lord who has open arms to you like Paul who said in (Vs 13)
“Now in return for the same (I speak as to children), you also be open, “welcome and
embrace in love”.
4. In (Vs 14-7:1) we looked at living Holy lives because of the “promises” given to us as
children of God. Are you currently unequally yoked in a relationship, situation, habit,
etc. that is causing you to miss out on the easy yoke of Jesus(Matthew 11:28-30). Have
you believed that you will lose something by giving up this relationship etc? Reread
(2Chron 25:9, Phil 3:7) in its context and share how you plan on setting aside “all
filthiness of the flesh and spirit” that you might be “perfected in holiness in the fear of
God”, that is WHOLY GOD’S (Rom 12:1-2).
